Gambling Internet Sites Expect NCAA March Madness Boon Sports gambling internet sites can expect a big boon in business now that CBS has announced plans to make all early- round games from the upcoming NCAA college basketball tournament, known as March Madness, available on the internet. This is the first time that so many NCAA games will be available on the internet without a subscription fee. The only part of the March Madness tournament that will not be available online will be the last three rounds. Eighteen prominent companies have signed up to advertise on the website during the games, including Marriott International, Dell and Pontiac, which represents a newfound appreciation of video streaming technology from firms that have been cautious in the past. With such easy access to most of the March Madness games by a huge audience, sports gambling internet sites predict a large boom in business. Some corporate managers predict that many workers will log onto the website to see the game during work, and many of those will be expected to make wagers on their favorite gambling internet sites beforehand. Jeremy K., a Lancaster, PA resident who regularly bets on NCAA games via gambling internet sites and office pools, was really excited about the new development. “This is great! Now I can watch the games from work! It’s about time this happened,” he said.
